This photo was taken on Tuesday, 15 February 1944
Three new children were transferred from other schools in January -Olive and Robert Gray along with John Costello.
Even though blurred we can see clothing styles.

On Wednesday 19 January 1944 Clyde experienced the worst bush fire it its history. Eleven homes were destroyed. Children from both Clyde 3664 and Clyde North 118 were homeless as a result. This is while World War 2 raged in Europe and the Pacific.
